Belief

I'm on a roll today!

Belief.

There is probably no greater man-made power than belief. Belief in making the impossible possible has allowed humankind to create its most astounding achievements. It has allowed us to circumnavigate the globe on a boat, it has allowed us to fly though the skies, it has even allowed a select few of us to walk on the surface of the moon.

All of these things seem perfectly acceptable in today's world - but there was a time when each of those notions was simply preposterous. In some cases, mentioning them out loud was tantamount to signing your own execution writ. But yet - people believed. And they succeeded.

What do you believe in? What do you believe you could accomplish?

What do you believe you could accomplish if you KNEW it was impossible to fail?

Guess what - with belief (and focus), it is impossible to fail! Chances are, if you're reading this, I don't know you personally. But I will tell you this - I know that if you believe in yourself, regardless if anyone else believes in you - that you can accomplish anything.

And I'll tell you one more thing, I believe in you. I believe you can accomplish whatever you believe you can do! No matter what - you've got someone on your side!

Here's to your success!

An additional thought for the day...

Are you pleased with where your life is today? Are you happy with the current results of your efforts?

Chances are you are not as happy as you want to be. And there's nothing wrong with that.

But when you look back over your life and wonder how you got to where you are. You need to understand one thing: you are where you are today, because of the decisions and actions you have taken so far.

Let me say that again: Everything you are today - is a result of your actions and decisions.

I hear the howls of protest, even as I type. "But but but...." There are no "buts". I know there are things that have happened to everyone that seem as though they were the result of completely external influences. And that may be the case. But if something did happen to you, how did you let it affect you? What did you DECIDE to do as a result? This is what I'm talking about.

So lets go back to my original notion: you are the sum total of your actions and decisions to date. While we're at it - lets re-ask the original question: are you happy with where you are in life today?

I once heard a wise man say, if you keep doing what you're doing today, and if you keep making the same decisions, you can expect to get the same results. If you want change, you need to change at a fundamental level. His direct quote was: "If you want to change the fruits, you need to change the roots."

So now ask yourself, what actions are you willing to change, to gain the results you want?

Here's to your success!
